29日，记者从北京奥运会笔译和口译服务供应商北京元培翻译公司获悉，奥运全职翻译正在全球招募，将与各高校合作招募外语副教授以上的专家参与奥运会赛时的翻译工作。
元培翻译公司总经理蒋小林透露，奥运会期间，将会有1500名专业翻译人员加入奥运会口译、笔译服务当中。虽经若干轮的选拔、招募，部分小语种人才、外语对外语翻译人才仍然存在缺口。
蒋小林说，目前，北外、北语等高校的副教授确定会加入到奥运翻译服务队伍当中。去年全球招募的全职翻译年薪远远超出预先开出的10万元价码，许多优秀稀缺的外语对外语全职翻译身价接近20万元。
